Join us for stories, rhymes, and songs at Barclay Park! Bring a blanket or a towel to sit on. Please note: In cases of rain or extreme heat, storytimes will be held in the library's Community Room, with limited space due to room capacity.
Summer Storytimes are geared toward ages 3 and up, however all ages are welcome!

Create Your Own Story
LED BY: Ilarlar Deng
In this five-session workshop, kids will use their imagination to create characters, build new worlds, and write their own stories. Each session includes fun activities and guided writing time to help ideas grow. By the end of the program, kids will have a finished story to share!
This workshop is led by Ilarlar Deng, a local high school student who has written and self-published a novel and enjoys mentoring younger writers.

Prehistoric Creature Robotics
Snapology’s Prehistoric Creatures Robotics focuses on the creatures that roamed the Earth before recorded history! In this program, your engineer will explore the basics of robotics while building some fascinating prehistoric creatures!
While working with a partner to complete various challenges, kids will be taught how to effectively utilize sensors, how different mechanical components work in their robots, and how programming is a challenging but rewarding skill that they can master with just a little practice. We will support them in the development of their coding and building skills and inspire them with creative building challenges.
